1. Who we are
EduFlourish is a K-12 school consultancy run by EduFlourish Private Limited. We decide why and how your personal data is used, so under the DPDP Act we are the Data Fiduciary.
This policy covers www.eduflourish.in, the enquiries you send us through it, and job applications you make through it. It does not cover the work we do inside client schools, which is governed by our agreement with each school.

2. What we collect
We collect only what you type or upload, plus the basic technical data any website receives. We do not use advertising tools. If you allow it in the cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful.
| Who you are | What we collect | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Anyone visiting the site | Your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in our hosting provider's server logs | Your browser, automatically |
| A visitor who clicks "Allow" in the cookie banner | The pages you visit, how you arrived (for example Google or LinkedIn), your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city and country). Never your name, email, phone or anything you type into a form | Google Analytics, only after you allow it |
| Someone who sends an enquiry | Name, phone, email, institution (optional), area of interest, your message | The Contact form |
| A job applicant | Name, email, phone, city, the role, your resume, links you choose to add (portfolio, LinkedIn), where you heard about the role, and the Instagram username you follow us with (optional) | The application form |
| A candidate invited to Round 2 (once Round 2 online interviews start) | Your answers to the Round 2 form, including date of birth and languages you speak; the audio and video recording of your AI interview and a written transcript of it | The Round 2 form and interview |
| A candidate at any stage | Scores, notes and the decision made at each round | Our hiring team and the AI tools described in section 4 |
During hiring we never ask about marital status, family plans, pregnancy, children, religion, caste or health conditions. If you need an adjustment for an interview, you may tell us, and we use that only to arrange it. After you accept a job offer, our joining form asks for family and health details (marital status, spouse and children, date of birth, blood group, health conditions, emergency contact). We use these only for employee benefits, insurance, nominees, maternity benefits and your safety at work, never for hiring decisions.
3. Why we use it
We use your data only for the purpose you gave it to us for, and never sell it or use it for advertising.
| Purpose | Data used | Basis under the DPDP Act |
|---|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and discussing our services with you | Contact form details | You gave it to us voluntarily for this purpose (section 7(a)) |
| Assessing your job application, arranging interviews and telling you the outcome | Application, Round 2 form, interview recording, scores | Your consent, given by ticking the box on the application form (section 6) |
| Keeping your resume for future openings | Resume and contact details | A separate, optional consent tick box; you can say no and still apply |
| Keeping the website secure and working | Server logs | Needed to protect the site and the data on it |
| Seeing which pages are useful, so we can improve the site | Google Analytics data (section 2) | Your consent, given by clicking "Allow" in the cookie banner. Change it any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page |
| Meeting a legal obligation or a valid order from a court or authority | Only what the law or order requires | Section 7 |
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us (section 1). Withdrawing is as easy as giving it. It stops further use, but does not undo what was done before, and if you withdraw during hiring we cannot continue with your application.
4. How we use AI in hiring
AI helps us read applications quickly and consistently; people make every hiring decision.
- Round 1: resume screening. An AI model reads your resume against the skills listed for the role and gives a score out of 100 with its reasons.
- 60 or more: you move to Round 2.
- 45 to 59: a member of our hiring team reads your application and decides.
- Under 45: a member of our hiring team checks the application and confirms before it is declined. Nobody is declined by the AI alone.
- Round 2: AI interview (once Round 2 online interviews start). An AI voice asks you the role's questions and records your spoken answers on audio and video. Your speech is turned into a written transcript, and an AI model scores the transcript for clarity, structure and relevance. Our hiring team reviews the scores, the transcript and, where needed, the recording.
- Round 3: interview with our team. Only people take part, and only people decide whether to make an offer.
The AI does not judge your face, appearance, accent, age or gender, and it is not given your date of birth or photo. If you think an AI score about you is wrong, email us (section 1) and a person will review your application again.
5. Who we share it with
We share your data only with the service providers that run our website, email and hiring tools, and only for those jobs. Each acts on our instructions as a Data Processor.
| Provider | What they do for us | Data they handle |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger | Hosts the website and its database | Everything sent through the site, server logs |
| Google (Workspace, Drive) | Our email, and storage of resumes and hiring records in our Google Drive | Enquiries, applications, resumes, interview recordings |
| Anthropic (Claude) | AI scoring of resumes and, once Round 2 starts, interview transcripts | Resume text, transcripts |
| Google (Analytics), only if you allow it | Counts visits and shows how the site is used | Pages visited, device, approximate location. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses |
| Google (Cloud Text-to-Speech), once Round 2 starts | The AI interviewer's voice | The interview questions only, no data about you |
| A speech-to-text service, once Round 2 starts (we will name it here before then) | Turns your spoken answers into text | Interview audio |
Our AI providers are used under business terms that do not let them use your data to train their models, and we will add a speech-to-text provider only on the same terms.
We also share data when the law requires it, for example with a court or a government authority acting lawfully.
Some of these providers store or process data outside India. We use them only where the DPDP Act allows such transfers.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as the purpose needs, then delete it.
| Data | How long | Then |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiries from the Contact form | 3 years after our last conversation | Deleted from our inbox |
| Applications, Round 2 answers, scores and notes | 12 months after the hiring decision | Deleted |
| Interview audio, video and transcripts | 12 months after the hiring decision | Deleted |
| Resumes in our resume bank (only if you ticked that box) | Until you ask us to remove it | Deleted within 30 days of your request |
| Server logs | Hostinger's standard log period | Deleted by Hostinger |
| Google Analytics data (only if you allowed it) | 14 months | Deleted by Google |
If you join EduFlourish, your application becomes part of your employee record and is kept under our employee policies instead. We may keep data longer only where a law requires it or to deal with a legal claim.
7. Cookies and content from other sites
The public website sets a cookie on the Contact page and the job application page, and Google Analytics cookies only if you click "Allow" in the cookie banner. We use no advertising cookies. Your banner choice is remembered in your browser (local storage, not a cookie) for 12 months; you can change it any time.
| Cookie | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
ef_contact | Remembers what you typed if the form needs correcting, and limits how many messages can be sent in 10 minutes to stop spam | Until you close your browser |
ef_apply | Keeps the job application form secure, shows your confirmation, and limits how many applications can be sent in an hour | Until you close your browser |
_ga and _ga_… | Google Analytics: tells visits apart so they can be counted. Set only if you click "Allow" | 13 months, or until you choose "No thanks" |
| Admin panel cookie | Keeps EduFlourish staff signed in to the admin panel; visitors never receive it | Until the staff member signs out or closes the browser |
To show the site, your browser also fetches files from:
- Google Fonts: the typefaces. Google receives your IP address and browser details.
- jsDelivr: the scripts that run the page animations. jsDelivr receives the same technical details.
- YouTube: on the Gallery page, video thumbnails load from YouTube. A video plays only when you click it, in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube's own privacy policy then applies.
Our pages link to our Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to do any of the following by emailing or writing to us (section 1). We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
- See your data: a summary of what we hold about you, how we use it, and who we have shared it with.
- Correct or update it if it is wrong or out of date.
- Delete it, unless a law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent for job applications or the resume bank (section 3).
- Ask a person to review an AI score about you (section 4).
- Nominate someone to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
- Complain to us through our Grievance Officer. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Using these rights is free.
9. Security, children and changes
Security. The site uses HTTPS encryption. Staff passwords are stored scrambled (hashed), never in readable form. Each staff account can open only the sections it needs. Resumes are stored outside the public website, and the website can reach only the Google Drive files it created or that our HR team chose, not the rest of our Google Drive. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Children. This website is for school owners, school leaders and job seekers. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Job applications are accepted only from people aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has sent us data, email us and we will delete it.
Changes. If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will email you before it applies.
